Champagne, is a sparkling wine made in the northern French region of the same name. Although in general is a white wine made from red grapes, some rosé wines are also produced.

The traditional champagne is made from three vines; Pinot Noir which provides body, Pinot Meuniere, provides mildness, and the emblematic Chardonnay, that is in charge of providing the fineness necessary to finish producing an elegant, sumptuous wine, internationally known.

From Roman times, a wine of similar characteristics was already known, but it is from the 17th and 18th centuries that its consumption becomes popular, most of all in the English and French courts. In 1670 the monk Dom Perignon introduced a series of changes that have lasted until today, such is the case of the grape selection, the cone-shaped cork held by a wire net, and the thick glass bottles.

In Paladar Plus we offer different kinds of Champagne from the two most emblematic labels; Moet & Chandon and Veuve Clicquot. Dare to drink it with any kind of food. You will be surprised!
