Spanish Rosé Wine

Rosé wine also called Claret, has pinkish tints as a result of the contact with red grape’s skin. There are three ways to make rosé wine; by contact with the grape’s skin, by the bleeding of the natural dyes, and by mixing.

Some studies point out that this is the world’s oldest wine, since in antiquity wine was not marinaded enough to allow the dark red tints to be transferred into the wine. In current times, its consumption has been reduced, but cellars are putting out in the market, magnificent rosé wines able to display wide spectrums of intense aromas, as well as fruity and floral hints.

Rosé wine should be consumed at a colder temperature than red wine. But the temperature must be properly chosen, to be able to appreciate the full potential in the wine.

In Paladar Plus we like rosé wine, for that reason we have available a very interesting representation of grape varieties( Merlot coupages(blends), Garnacha, Tempranillo, Bodal, Verdejo…,) we also have wines form several Spanish regions that will not disappoint wine lovers.
