Liberalia is a family winery sheltered by the emerging Vino de Toro denomination of origin. It began in 2000 with the owner Juan Antonio Fernández, an agronomist who was acquiring some of the best vineyards in the region, ranging in age from 30 to 100 years old.<\/p>\r\n
The vineyards of Bodegas Liberalia are situated in payments, where traditionally the grape has been cultivated, in particular the native variety Tinta de Toro, which is the adaptation of the Tempranillo to the region. In addition to this variety, they also grow the Muscat grains, Albillo and Malvasia.<\/p>\r\n
