Liberalia Enológica

Liberalia is a family winery sheltered by the emerging Vino de Toro denomination of origin. It began in 2000 with the owner Juan Antonio Fernández, an agronomist who was acquiring some of the best vineyards in the region, ranging in age from 30 to 100 years old.

The vineyards of Bodegas Liberalia are situated in payments, where traditionally the grape has been cultivated, in particular the native variety Tinta de Toro, which is the adaptation of the Tempranillo to the region. In addition to this variety, they also grow the Muscat grains, Albillo and Malvasia.

Currently they elaborate a wide range of wines of Toro, emphasizing by its character, its power and its degree. Wines with a great personality that are emerging among the best international guides and are making a gap between other appellations of origin.

The wines of the Bodega Liberalia have numbers. They start with Liberalia Cero, a magnificent young bull wine, followed by the oak Liberalia Tres, the breeding Libertalia Cuatro, the Liberalia Cinco Reserva and, in addition, they elaborate a lasting Wine of Rueda Verdejo, the Enebral.

The harvest is done manually in wooden boxes of 15 kg., And later in the winery we make an exhaustive selection of the best grape. They work with the best tonelerías in the world to give their crianza that special touch, being a 33% French oak and the rest American oak.
